This antique advertising mug features a charming Dutch girl and boy, and is perfect for collectors of vintage beverage memorabilia. Manufactured in Germany by the renowned SCHAFER AND VATER COMPANY. The mug was designed to promote VAN HOUTEN'S Hot Chocolate, a popular brand of cocoa and baking chocolate.
The images of the Dutch boy and girl, as well as the wording, is raised.
It measures 31/4 inches in height, is impressed, "Copyright 1908 on the bottom and is in very good condition.
I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss and rust could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
