Here is a pair of used
Malletech Orchestral Series
OR45R Hard White
, with Rattan handles for Xylophone and Glockenspiel
The Malletech Orchestral Series OR45R Mallets are particularly well-suited for bells. A full, round tone hides the "tick" associated with so many other mallets.
Head: 1 1/8" White Ball
Rattan diameter: 1/4"
The manufacturer's logo has mostly worn off one handle, but I KNOW they are both the
OR45R Hard White
total length: 13-7/8" & 13-6/8" (one mallet slightly shorter)
The shafts have very light residue of my initials marked in permanent marker.
Rattan shafts are slightly warped. Instructions for straightening are easy to find on the internet.
