MATERIAL : Colored porcelain of INUYAMA-yaki of GOSU AKAE.
INUYAMA-yaki is the pottery of Aichi Prefecture. The history is old. It is from around 1750 of the Edo period. A characterful blue porcelain and red painted pottery are famous from old-days. Especially red painted pottery resembles the old Chinese GOSU-AKA style. INUYAMA is very popular traditional pottery.
About GOSU-AKAE.
It is a generic name of red painted porcelain of Chinese Ming dynasty age. The characterful texture and style are very popular.
