    Description

    Two piece hand painted vase that we believe is Black Amethyst glass.  Overall height is 7.75."  Opening on the base top is 3" in diameter.  Nicely hand painted in a floral motif.  There is gold banding on the piece, but the gold is worn in spots.  We don't believe it detracts, but the wear is there.  This is an old piece.  The bottom of the top portion has a pontil mark on the bottom  We believe the piece is American, but are not positive.  No chips or cracks.
