AUTHENTIC OLD ANTIQUE OPALESCENT FREE BLOWN GLASS FLOWERS ON A SMALL DISH M450

There are three flowers and two leaves on this beautiful old opalescent 3 footed dish. It was right out of the Victorian era, into my collection of opalescent glass, and now on Ebay to sell & go to a new home! It is so pretty with just a little light from a window. There are 7 up close photos to see it well. Opalescent flowers on a small opalescent dish, really do dress up a table, or just on a shelf. Pretty light weight at around 9 oz. and close to art nouveau in design. Size approx. 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" & 2" tall. Wires were inserted into the base of each leaf & petal when they were still very hot, then into the (still hot) glass dish, so each one is well anchored! The leaves are not just flat, but have that "real leaf" look. They can be gently re-arranged but would break if dropped on concrete. So that tells us they have been well protected for so many years. No exact age, because two different "experts" gave me very different dates! From 1880's to the 1930's. I collected these antique flower displays because of the quality and opalescent beauty of each one. This is one of my pieces. Questions, email me!
