Description
This is a very RARE antique cocoa chocolate - Princess Brand - distributed by American Stores Company then out of Philadelphia circa 1917 to early 1920s. The round tin is metal on top and bottom - paper (cardboard w/seam?) in middle that contains the printing still all very legible. It is without a lid. The Princess logo wording and graphics (colors are green, blues and beige, the latter of which was probably white paper) are on two panels, and two other boxed panels - one with wording about directions for use, and the other about the cocoa being unadulterated from fine cocoa beans, and being recommended by physicians as a substitute for tea and coffee. In overall good condition considering it’s age (over 100 years). The paper label covering has darkened with age but still displays well. From a clean, pet free and smoke free environment.
