For sale is an Edwardian era J.S. Fry & Sons Limited green velvet chocolate box with hand highlighted portrait of a beautiful young lady, box lid finished with delicate filigree metal adornments. Box measures 8-1/2 inches in length, 4-5/8 inches in width, and 1-5/16 inches in height, being in very good condition without damage showing a fair amount of rubbing wear to both the edges and corners from use, the interior of the lid also having a penciled name “see 4th photo” (Note; one of the box lid corners shows some minor separation “see 4th photo”). Marked on the inside of the box lid with a label that reads; Makers To H. M. The King, By Appointment, J. S. Fry & Sons Limited, Bristol & London.
