Antique Green Covered Compote Bowl
I do not know the source or maker, it could be other than North American, possibly Italian?
It is a beautiful ornate design and a light green color.
9-1/2" tall by 8-1/2" wide at the handles
Hand Made/Blown There is a Pontil Mark on the Base.
One bubble in the bowl & the cover has MANY Seed Bubbles.
Please look at the last photo carefully - it is the top of the cover and looks like a pontil mark.
There are two little nubs missing there which could have happened when the glass rod was removed.
However it could be where a top piece has broken off?
Otherwise, it is in great condition with no cracks or chips.
