    Description

    Welcome to
    Antiques & Moore!
This listing is for a lovely 19th Century Amberina cup and saucer in the Inverted Thumbprint design, c. 1880-1890.
Both Mt. Washington and the New England Glass Company made high quality A
mberina glass in the U.S. and it's nearly impossible to tell the difference. The glass has beautiful coloration in shades of rich ruby glass shading to amber at the bottom with the cup having an applied amber glass handle.
Cup measures 2" with a 3" top diameter. Saucer measures 1" high and 5 5/8" in diameter. Combined weight is 8.7 ounces.
The cup is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The saucer is in very good to excellent condition with only some faint pin-point nicks on the rum and one no-harm rubbed spot on the rim noticed only upon close inspection.
