AMERICAN AMBERINA RAINDROP QUILTED 6.5" SQUARE TOP CELERY VASE, c. 1885

This listing is for a gorgeous late 19th Century Amberina Art Glass celery vase with square top, c. 1885.
This unusual vase has beautiful rich coloration in the glass, shading from deep ruby red at the top to amber on lower body and at the base. The glass was blown with an internal diamond quilted pattern and has a square scalloped top edge. The base is slightly wider and is rounded with a polished pontil.
This nice vase is in very good Estate condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is minor wear (rubbing) on the base from normal use, a couple tiny internal bubble in the glass. There is also a faint inconsistent 1 3/4" horizontal scratch about 1" above the base that is barely noticed upon normal inspection. Vase has a gorgeous display appearance.
Measures 6 1/2" high, 3 3/8" square at top (flat side to flat side) with a 3 7/8" diameter base. Weighs 1.10 pounds.
