This listing is for a lovely 19th Century Amberina 4.5" pitcher with square top in the "Inverted Thumbprint" pattern, c. 1880-1890.
Both Mt. Washington and the New England Glass Company made high quality Amberina glass in this style with rich coloring and it's very hard to tell the difference as neither company signed their items.
This pitcher has beautiful coloration in the glass in shades of dark mahogany red shading to amber with an applied amber glass handle. Pitcher has a polished pontil.
The pitcher is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
