    Description

    EDI Solid-Tube R-3DR3 Diode Module
    Solid State Replacement for 3DR3 Vacuum tube (Specification included)
    Rated 38,000 volts PIV (peak inverse volts) @ 2 ma current.
    Perfect for that Steampunk HV setup, no filiment requirement, yet you get a cool rectifier that looks like a tube (FREE octal socket included on request if you need one). 3DR3 spec sheets included.
    This is a super high voltage tube and cannot be tested using normal diode testing techniques.
    I used the double 9 volt battery method (2 series 9 volt to get 19v measured voltage), and tested these using a 19 Volt battery together with my voltmeter. This method requires that I measure the voltage drop between the anode and cathode.  There is no voltage (0v) in one direction (like open circuit) and 4v of the 19v battery voltage measured the other direction. The lost voltage is the voltage drop across the multiple internal diode junctions (15 volt junction voltage).
